What is UAE Gold Price Today?

UAE Gold Price Today is a free tool for checking the estimated value of gold in United Arab Emirates dirhams. It shows four common purity levels: 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K. Each row includes a price for one gram, ten grams and one tola. You can use these figures as a starting point when comparing gold weights or planning a purchase in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or another emirate.

The tool gets the international gold spot price in US dollars per troy ounce from Gold API. It also gets the USD to AED exchange rate from ExchangeRate-API. It converts the ounce price into grams, then adjusts for purity. For example, 22K uses twenty two parts of gold out of twenty four. Lower karat jewellery contains other metals, which help change its strength and colour.

These calculations describe the estimated metal value. They do not represent an official shop price or a guaranteed offer. A finished ring, chain or bracelet may cost more because the seller adds making charges and other costs. Selling your own gold may also involve deductions. Always ask a jeweller for a clear breakdown before agreeing to a purchase or sale.

How to Use This Tool?

  1. Open this page and wait for the live rates to load. No account, payment or API key is needed.
  2. Find the row that matches your gold purity. Check the hallmark or ask the seller if you are unsure about the karat.
  3. Read the column for one gram, ten grams or one tola. All values are displayed in AED with two decimal places.
  4. Check the successful update time, shown in Dubai time. Leave the page open for automatic updates, or press Refresh prices to request another check.

To estimate a different weight, multiply the one gram figure by the number of grams. For a five gram item, multiply by five. Use the same purity throughout your comparison. Keep a note of the date, purity and weight when comparing a quote with another seller later. If you compare two shops, ask both for the gold value, making charge and total payable amount separately.

Features

  • Four purity levels: Compare 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K without changing settings or entering complex formulas.
  • Three weight options: Gram, ten gram and tola values appear together, making common weight comparisons easier.
  • Regular checks: The page requests fresh data every five minutes. The underlying providers may update on different schedules, especially for exchange rates.
  • Dubai timestamps: The local clock and update details use the Asia/Dubai time zone, regardless of your device location.
  • Simple access: The lightweight table works on phones, tablets and computers. There is no software to install.

FAQs

Are these the exact prices charged by Dubai gold shops?

No. These are estimates based on international spot gold and a published exchange rate. Shops may follow local retail price boards and add making charges, premiums and applicable taxes. Confirm the final invoice amount and any additional fees directly with the seller.

How often do the prices update?

The tool checks both sources when you open the page and every five minutes afterward. A check does not guarantee that the provider has published a new quote. If a request fails, the last successful figures remain visible with a warning. Check the timestamp before relying on them.

What is a tola of gold?

A tola is a traditional weight commonly used in South Asian gold trading. This tool uses approximately 11.6638038 grams for one tola. It is a unit of weight, not purity. Always compare the same karat and weight when reviewing gold prices.
