About Khaleej Tools

Last Updated: 30 October 2026

My name is Manzoor, and I operate KhaleejTools.pro from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I built this website around a straightforward idea: everyday online tasks should be easier to finish. A person checking an amount in dirhams, resizing a photo or preparing a document should be able to find the right tool, understand what it does and get on with their day.

Why I built it from the UAE

Living in the UAE gives this project a particular focus. People here often work across countries, currencies and document requirements. A salary is paid in AED, while a family budget may be discussed in Pakistani rupees or Indian rupees. A phone bought in the Gulf can raise questions about registration costs when it is taken to Pakistan. A file that looks fine on a laptop may need resizing before it can be used in an online application.

Those are the kinds of situations I wanted Khaleej Tools to help with. They are small tasks, but they take time when the useful function is buried behind a registration screen or the instructions leave you guessing. My aim is to put practical tools in one place and explain their limits in ordinary language. The website reflects that everyday perspective rather than claiming to replace a bank, an adviser or a government service.

19 free tools, with Gulf expats in mind

The collection now contains 19 free tools. I built it especially for Gulf expatriates, including Pakistanis and Indians living in the UAE, while keeping it open to anyone who finds it useful. You do not need an account or a paid subscription to use the tools. Someone checking remittance values and someone editing an image can use the same site without signing up for separate services.

For money and regional planning, the collection includes the AED currency converter, Pakistan PTA Tax Calculator, UAE Gold Price Today and UAE Gratuity Calculator. These tools help with an initial comparison or estimate. Exchange-house fees, gold jewellery making charges, official tax assessments and employment circumstances can change the amount that actually applies. Please check the relevant provider or authority before making a payment or relying on a figure for a legal decision.

The document tools are PDF to Word, Word to PDF and Compress PDF. The image tools are Image Resizer, JPG to PNG Converter, Image Compressor, Remove Background, Image to Text OCR and HEIC to JPG. QR Code Generator and YouTube Thumbnail Downloader help with sharing and visual work. Password Generator, Age Calculator, Percentage Calculator and BMI Calculator round out the collection. Each tool has its own page so you can go directly to the task you need.

What I want the site to be useful for

A job seeker may need a smaller image for a form. A student may want to extract text from a photographed page. A small business owner may need a QR code for a website link. An expatriate planning a trip home may want to compare a phone’s purchase price with an estimated registration cost. These practical uses guide what belongs in the collection and what information should sit beside a tool.

My mission is to make those tasks accessible without adding more work around them. Clear labels, visible results and instructions that explain the next step matter as much as the calculation itself. I also want visitors to understand what an output means. A BMI result is a general indicator rather than a diagnosis. OCR text needs proofreading. A converted document may need its formatting checked before you send it to an employer or client.

Privacy while working with files

The current image and document tools process selected files in your browser. They do not send those files to a Khaleej Tools conversion server. That matters when a document contains personal details or a photo is intended for an application. Some features still download libraries or request public information from other services, and advertising and analytics have their own privacy considerations. Our Privacy Policy explains those distinctions and the choices available through the cookie banner.

Please keep a copy of your original file and check a result before using it. Browser support, unusual file formats and complex layouts can affect what a tool produces. If something fails, a useful report is more valuable than silently leaving the page: tell me the tool, the browser and what you expected to happen. You do not need to send a private document to describe a problem.

Keeping the tools free and accountable

Advertising is intended to help cover the cost of running the website. Google AdSense availability depends on approval and the visitor’s consent choices. Optional Google advertising and analytics scripts stay blocked until you accept through the banner. You can decline and continue using the tools, or reopen Cookie settings later to change your preference.

I am responsible for this independent website and welcome corrections, including outdated instructions, confusing results and accessibility problems. Khaleej Tools is not an official UAE government, PTA, bank or medical website. Giving a tool a regional focus does not make its output an official decision. Trust comes from explaining the source and limits of a result and correcting problems when they are identified.
